A museum I love to visit whenever I am near Auburn, Indiana. Great image here JK.
How many hours should I plan on for the museum? Will be heading that way in August. 🤗

@frank, I'd plan on at least a half day. If you want to take your time and enjoy the cars, I'd say go early and linger through the afternoon. When we walked in, Kelly asked how long we would be there. She likes cars but is not quite as passionate as I am about them. I showed her some of the detail work on a few Packards just inside the entrance, and she was hooked. We were there for six hours and could have spent more time. There's another museum on the grounds that is also worth your time. It has cars from the more recent decades and a huge collection of trucks.

This certainly sounds like a great spot to visit and explore, JK. A real automotive heaven.
The building itself is gorgeous too.

@ed-glorius Ed, you are correct. The building is magnificent and a beautiful piece of automotive history.
It is a fantastic museum to visit. I've been several times, although not in the last three years. I hope to plan a trip this July or August. I'm thinking a museum tour in that area (sort of) from Gilmore to the Studebaker Museum and all in between. Since I am unable to drive this all myself these days, I am taking (maybe dragging) my wife along with me. It should be a fun trip.

@jkuvakas thanks. My wife will be with me but she may get hooked as well. The truck museum also looks good. Going to hit St Louis on the return trip (heading to Iowa) and hit the blues museum and a car museum there as well. 👍

While you're in Northern Indiana, you may consider visiting the RV/MH Hall of Fame in Elkhart, Indiana. I visited around five years ago, and it was a real treat to see the progression of motor homes and RVs through the years as you stroll along the "road" inside the museum.
Our own Randy Rusk had a very prominently displayed collection of scale RVs in the RV/MH Hall of Fame. I agree; it's another must-see if you're in the area.

An excellent photographic tour, John ! It looks like a very cool place. (Lol, wait, I was there with some family members a number of years back and it certainly _IS_ a very cool place !)
