If my missus is that pissed with me I think, in the interest of self preservation, it's best not to eat anything she would offer.

Well then, in my house, she goes hungry cause I'm the cook. No, I'm the chef!

And just for the record, page 34 of the recipe book is how to make Spam taste like filet mignon. But guess what? It still tastes like Spam!!

@perrone1 Same here Tony, I don't do all the cooking, but probably 98% of it. Plus, I enjoy it. I love to experiment. 💯👍

I like experimentation too Geno. I enjoy the prep work, figure out proper proportion mix and tailor the spices to the dish. Aside from the garage, the little car room and my ammunition loading bench, the kitchen is my happy place. LOL!

@perrone1 Aside from the little car room, it would appear you like places where you can make explosives.

Me too Tony, I do about 80% of the cooking and really enjoy it and my other happy place is my model area(s).  I don't have an ammunition loading bench though........I did thousands of bullet and shotgun shell reloads for my old man as a kid and kind of wore that interest out...lol.  By the time I retired I never wanted to see another gun; I think it was my experience with all the associated violence and tragedy I was witness to that did it.

You're not alone my friend. Back in Texas I was a NRA accredited gun safety instructor and, on weekends, a gun range safety officer. On special assignments, I and fellow range officers, ran handgun qualifications for the Ft. Worth Police Dept. when they were doing longer distance qualifications than they had (at that time) available at the department. As a result, over the years I got to be friends with a number of the officers who we shot with and hunted with.

I handloaded for 6 of those fellows.
