We've got something even better than smoked brisket. Mr. N receives......the Trabant Super Sport Ought 7 Le Mons Coupe with the Big Block engine (The BB) and our parts bin special dress-up kit! As soon as we figure out how to attach the dress-up kit without causing any further complications with the professionally oxidized body parts and get the termites out of the engine block, his prize will be ready. By the way, the BB engine is said to be made of high-grade synthetic walnut with a deep burl grain emblazoned on the polished veneer by our resident faux wood expert, Vlad.

Sounds quite lovely.....it`s good to hear that Vlad has stuck down more work after that nasty pike business last week.......anyway you look at it,THIS trabant is unarguably one-of-a-kind.............which begs the questions : what exquisite prize will be awarded to the 2nd place winner, and should Herbert T Gillis wait outside for further notice?

A stupendous prize to be sure my Moderator; but alas....by doing away with the one horsepower feature I fear we have outdone ourselves!  It is a bold venture to be certain, but is it one that can be surpassed in future ?.....I say neigh....I mean nay!

Is he the baby food guy?

He is probably best known for writing "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty".

Steve; I appreciate that you arrived late to this thread so let me provide a condensed, yet comprehensive recap as I see it.  Initially there was a quiz in which the prize was a Special Edition Trabant Sport Coupe 'eh (obviously made in Canada) complete with hi-tech "burly" powerplant by master mechanic/insect exterminator Vlad.  Sadly, disgruntled non-winners disputed the quiz legitimacy, the answer of which they claimed  was subject to regional mispronunciation of one word, thus favoring certain area residents.  This inspired the wrath of Khan and things got nasty until renowned author, illustrator and baby food magnate James Gerber intervened saying that in his mind the answer was puree and simple.  Gerber's respected opinion caused many whining complainants to can it and put a lid on it which helped.  Ultimately though consensus was reached with the added input of respected Forumite member PR, whose qualified opinion as a previous Jeopardy winner saved the day.  Sensing the collective relief of those parties concerned, Gerber's associate and brewmaster Malter Witty successfully changed the mood by relating humorous stories of his life, while Gerber drew a conclusion to the entire matter, which helped turn the page as it were.  As the satisfied group dispersed, a girl named Dorothy displaying abandonment issues passed by and stopped to ask directions to Kansas.  A grocer named Gillis kindly volunteered to drive her there in his Ford Woody; which caused his son Dwayne to rethink his opinion of his father.  I trust this will provide clarification Steve.  I know that occasionally Forum threads tend to stray off topic and cause confusion but obviously that was not the case this time.
