There is too much going on with the Hudson, so for me the DeSoto is the clear winner.
I agree with John N.

Another vote for DeSoto but I do like the Hudson.
Desoto for me too while the Hudson is definitely different just hard to get to excited about it!
DeSoto styling looks much more attractive but I also like the Hudson.
I voted for the DeSoto. My love and respect for Hudson is for the Step-down body style.

Though I like both, it's the "waterfall grill" of the DeSoto that wins me over. The Hudson's grill is way "to busy", almost like several people got to have a part in designing it. But that DeSoto grill has always caught my eyes.

DeSoto please. Before '48 the Hudson styling just turn me off, '48 to '54 I love. After '48 the DeSoto styling turns me off.
Interesting. I'm in favor of the DeSoto from 1948 through 1955. But we can still be friends.

Like both, but I like the DeSoto more.

I'd always hoped that either Danbury Mint or Franklin Mint would have given us the '47 DeSoto after each of them did the '48 Chryslers. My thinking was, it might not be that hard to do the DeSoto, as it seemed to share the Chrysler body style closely. At least to my eyes.
