Man oh man it certainly does make me smile and yearn for a one way trip in the time machine!
I think you're right on with the year estimate Tony; I can't find anything newer than that year on the lot.
@jack-dodds 1956 would be my guess too. Surprisingly, the only convertible I see (I always look for convertibles first ) is the pink top-down 1956 Lincoln. The two Cadillacs, left & right of that Lincoln, may also be convertibles (tops up ).... the photo just isn't clear enough.
@chris LOL....the pink Lincoln is the only convertible I spotted as well. Considering there are palm trees present I'm thinking it must have been a cold and/or stormy day.
Every year we went to Florida on vacation from St. Louis In 1955 dad had a 1955 Pontiac Star Chief convertible. This picture sure looks like it could have been someplace we might have been. Fond memories. Thanks Chris.
Smiling from ear-to-ear! Fantastic, love it, thanks Chris!

- Bob.... Wow, how cool is that? Fantastic! 😎 😎 😎Â
- Barry.. I stared at this one for several minutes. I have a small but comprehensive postcard collection with similar scenes, but this photo, IMO, is in a class by itself.Â
Love the picture of the Cypress Gardens parking lot Chris! Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven Florida was one of the first tourist destinations in operation from 1936 to 2009. The video below is from 1957.Â
