One week ago, while visiting relatives in the San Francisco area, I visited the Blackhawk Museum in Danville CA. The museum was founded in 1988 by Ken Behring and Don Williams as a car museum, but later expanded to include exhibits on China, African Art, the Wild West, and nature. This post and the following second part will show photos from the Don Williams Gallery. Enjoy the photos.

Many of these cars are privately owned. This is a nice place to house your car (and show it off).

Thanks Ed, interesting museum and vehicles. New to me.
Thanks for the tour Ed. Your pictures are excellent.
I did not know about this museum until about three years ago. My wife’s daughter and family did not know about this place, and they have lived in the San Francisco area for over 15 years.
