At first glance, the Japanese car culture is curious to our eyes, to say the least. This video explains why.

This video clip makes me glad that I was part of the hot rod and custom car craze of the 50s and 60s.  The guy is annoying to my old ears......but I have to say the topic is interesting, although very strange.  To me this type of car is a colossal waste of money BUT I'm sure our parents said the same thing about our chopped, channeled, sectioned, frenched, decked "beauties" back in the day.  I guess this is just another art form on wheels; so to each his own I suppose.

Statement made.  Gotta respect that.  And in some curious way those cars are an art form.  The question is what will the next generation come up with.

The narrator is a riot.
