Kelly and I have been to several of these in Georgia and Florida. It's quite an experience!\

y'all come and have a look, right....
We have a couple of stations like that in Arizona - not Buc-ees, but same concept on a much, much smaller scale. They blow me away. I can only imagine what Buc-ees would do to my psyche.
@kocour, you're correct. The first time we stopped, it was out of curiosity. First, we were totally blown away by about a hundred pumps under massive roofs. Then, going inside, it's like the Disneyland of gas stations. There's so much going on you expect to see the Electric Light Parade march by at any minute. Aside from the spectacle of it all, one of the main attractions about Buc-ee's is the price of their gas. At least the ones we visited had gas that was cheaper by 15-20¢ per gallon than the other stops on the interstates. Our biggest problem is always getting out of the place! It's far too tempting to spend a lot of time there! There's almost too much to see and do. You find yourself wandering around and the next thing you know, you've been there an hour.

I had heard of them, but have not set foot in one as of yet.
We do not have any in our area but I did stop at one on the way to Houston a couple of years ago...incredible.
I've never set foot there but I hope one day I can go there and discover new things that I didn't know ^^
Since my last post, I have now actually been in one. Was in Birmingham for the Indy race at Barber Motor Sports Complex. Low and behold there is a Buc-ee's at the exit for the track. Since it was raining when we got there we decided to spend a little time hoping for the rain to slow down. I have to agree with John on this one. It is like a mini mall, something for everyone and so much food. I believe they are building one in S.C. but have not heard the exact location yet.
