I bet Y2K really messed up their schedule.
OH NO, not this nonsense again! Can't someone stop this idiocy? (Excuse me a second, as I scream) ARRRRGGGGHHHHH!
Ahhh; much better.
Quite right, Tony. A historical nonsense. The meta-data for the photo shows it was taken around 1812, but daylight saving time was only introduced in 1916.
Before that, Stonehenge was only re-aligned every 250 years to correct for the slight change in the Earth's orbital orientation. This photo was obviously taken during one of those periodic adjustments.

By Jove, you're correct Graeme! And by blowing up the photo and zooming in, I see the fellow at the top of the rig, to the left holding on to one rope, is wearing a Swatch watch! And it don't look like no 1812 Swatch watch to me!!
But just to clarify; I'm bellyaching about the time switch back and forth, not so much Stonehenge. As Chris points out, it was an Alien navigational instrument. (Pretty sure, anyway)
And I complain about having to adjust my clocks. This year I bought a new car with a navigation system, my first, and it sets itself.

Yes. I did too Bob; and after I set it to do that, it just left me with 680 million other clocks, watches, timers and devices to set manually. Excuse me one more time as I scream......................ARRRGGGHHHHHHHHH!
@graeme-ogg This is basically true Graeme but of course that was when they recorded daylight savings using the metric system. Things slowed up by a multiplier of roughly .6 when they changed to Imperial....which saved them on frequency of crane rentals as well.
@chris The pyramids were the only navigational aids. Stonehenge was the original Hard Rock Cafe site....a lot of people are not aware of this.
Stonehenge was the original Hard Rock Cafe
Yes, you're correct. According to Wikipedia, it was in the town of Bedrock. 😏
