Last Sunday I attended a car show in Long Grove, Illinois, which is a northwest suburb of Chicago.  Here are some of the photos I took.

Thanks for sharing Ed. Those two Caddys are outstanding.

@bob-jackman

I agree with you about those Cadillacs. The 1938 Cadillac was my favorite at the show. It’s current owner told me it has 78,000 miles on the odometer, and he believes that is the total mileage. He has also driven it to Florida and back. It has sufficient power for today’s highways, is comfortable, and gets attention from other folks.

Nice selection Ed. I find the Bentley interesting in that I'm seeing more older vehicles being left in a rough state rather than restored to their original condition. The Cadillacs certainly are very well restored, which I prefer.

Love the chopped Bentley, no need for paint, perfect rat-rod.

A very interesting and diverse collection of cars.  My fave is the 49 Cadillac convertible.  The chopped Bentley makes me feel rather sad.

@jack-dodds: Though I'm a fan of modified cars, this one also saddens me. I'd prefer it with a top at stock height even with significant patina. This is not one that I would modify or customize.
