For any of you living in or near the city of Chicago, there will be a Chicago Auto Show this summer from July 15 to 19. Tickets have to be purchased online for a specific date and time. Just search for "Chicago Auto Show".

Thanks for that info, Ed. For many years, since I was a small kid in the 1950's, I went regularly to the great Chicago Auto Show. This was especially true when my Dad was alive and had various automotive clients who were exhibitors there and at shows around the country.
Sadly, it seems in more recent years the show (and the city itself) has lost a great deal of it's magic, for several reasons. Especially now, I imagine the CAS will be a pale shadow of it's former self.
I can always set up my own auto show in smaller diecast/white metal/resin scale I guess ! (but no beautiful girl models to show them off on the turntables !)
