I gunned down a lot of kids with my Paladin gun/holster/hat set.....made every one of them count to ten until they were alive again too (time to get away). I was merciless; the kid in black with the pearl white (plastic) horse head attached to my holster. I learned to swagger early.
it`s a shame they made you put all this away after a couple years on the force
@jack-dodds, you mean Davey's late parents. What a tragic accident.
Yes indeed. I think it is fair to say that the entire neighborhood was shocked to learn that such a pleasant couple would have tarantulas as pets...and to cage them in their bedroom SO carelessly!

I know, I know....many of my colleagues say that my insistence on wearing the vest despite repeated management warnings held me back from promotion.

We felt that we were indeed ruthless but naming ourselves "The 32 Horsepower Gang" and the fact that we could never outrun the cops may have hurt our image.

Oh NO!!!!!!!.....That cant have been the reason
Well...that third time I was denied promotion and in anger I had a flashback, donned my Paladin gear and challenged the promotional board to slap leather.....that may have been detrimental....but that could happen to anybody.

that seems an unlikely scenario Jack...... were you sporting the lanyard AND handing out business cards as all this "went down"?
@john-barry I wore all the gear but held off on issuing my cards; they knew who I was and I didn't want them to think I took paper wastage lightly. I may at times have a hair trigger but ecologically I'm golden.

@john-barry Thanks for your support JayBee and I'm okay with your "figurative" book....again.....I'm big on the paper wastage thing. Enjoy your afternoon matinee....say hi to Ida for me.
@jkuvakas had we been able to anticipate any instance of ignominy we would have directed Smokey Bear to swing by and do here, what he does best....hat or no
