Merry Christmas to All πŸŽ„πŸŽ‰πŸΎΒ

Anyone know how the tradition of a model train circling the Christmas tree began ?Β

@100ford2003Β

I am not sure about this, but Lionel was the first electric train manufacturer to associate electric trains with Christmas. This was one of their best marketing ideas. I suspect if you got a train for Christmas, setting it up around tree was a good place to start playing with it.

I miss all my Lionel train sets that my mom and dad bought for me when I was a kid.
