Oh please dear God don't let us go down that road.  Letting the inmates take over the Asylum has already gotten way out of hand.  

@georgeschire So George...can I assume then, like many of us Forumites, you're not considering changing your "pronoun"?

You could put money on that Jack.  I think our "PC" world has gotten completely off the train tracks.  For us as a society to even acknowledge these nut-jobs is insanity by its best definition.  Not implying that some change wasn't needed, but it's gone too far south and is now being crammed down our throats as being okay.

@georgeschire  You said it, kids liked it and by that time I was not a kid anymore.  I am a realist, fantasys have never interested me. Like good Sci-Fi's though.  To each their own!

I like Sci-Fi too. The Invaders was a favorite series and the original The Day the Earth Stood Still a movie that I still admire for its special effects and message.

 

@georgeschire I impatiently wait for the pendulum to swing back to somewhere near center.........but I do worry.

I worry too.  But like I said, we've went to far south with the PC movement.  So going back just a little to a better reality is likely not going to happen.
