My wife received her second shot of the Covid Vaccine yesterday. Interesting that she doesn't appear to have any side affects from it....EXCEPT, it seems to have improved her hearing. She heard me mumble under my breath this morning that she burned my bacon.

@john-barry, I like a strip of bacon with my scrambled egg and slice of toast in the morning.

@john-barry, well I still have Oatmeal and Cream of Wheat some mornings too. It's all about trying to stay healthy at my older age.

I was happy that I got my second shot too. My wife and I are beyond thrilled. With her Cancer last year, it was important that she got hers.

@georgeschire Good for you both George! No doubt a big relief.
@georgeschire I am aware of this George....it must be supremely challenging
My wife and I had our second shots last Friday, and spent the weekend with mild symptoms as forewarned. My understanding is that over 60% of the Covid deaths are in the over 65 age bracket, and I'm "way over"! I wish all of you good health, easy shots, and continuation in the scale of your choice. Enjoy!

I had my second shot on March 20th and had no reactions to it at all. My wife had hers yesterday and she's had none (at least so far) either. I'm 69 and she's 68. Our oldest daughter who is 41 (and a Kindergarten teacher) had some minor aches in February after her second shot.
The important thing is for everyone to get vaccinated. It is the only way we can successfully beat this pandemic together.

I missed this thread first time around.
I also had shot #2 on February 4. Most everyone I know is well past second shot and 2 weeks, and there have been hugs had!
My partner gets his second Wednesday, and we've already booked a hotel for a short getaway the end of the month (45 minute drive).
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
@ed-glorius, TRAVEL! I remember that!! Kelly and I had a short road trip over the winter. It was amazing! Not many folks were out and about. We felt like we had the road to ourselves. Now, it seems like traffic is picking up a bit here in Virginia. I don't mind. It makes it feel more like springtime.
I had my first shot a week ago. Kelly is still waiting for hers.
Have a great time, Ed!

It's at least a month since both my wife and I received our second vaccine shot. Neither one of us had any bad reaction to the shots. My wife and I are into our 70s.
