Oh man, this was radio when radio was radio! Great music, clever jingles, catchy phrases and incredibly talented Disc Jockeys that could bring you to the studio with them. I have all of these amazing Cruisin' albums and they all take us to the past to radio greatness.

thanks George, some good stuff on there. Our DJs from the late 50s to late 70s were huge personalities with equally huge followings. Loved their input into our lives.

Another thing I enjoy about these CruIsin' albums (they run from 1955 to 1970), is the great CAR COMMERCIALS that are delivered on them.  On the 1957 CruIsin' I shared above, they have a Ford commercial and a really cool one for Mercury.  Joe Niagra, the DJ on this one is so easy to listen to.  Sure beats the talk/opinion radio crap we're fed today on most radio stations!

...occasionally, I'll listen to full-original radio broadcasts on YT from the 1950 & '60's.   Callers often give full names & addresses (unheard of today ), on air, when claiming contest prizes. ($20 was a big deal back then  😀)    It's fun to Google addresses, locations, and sometimes even histories of those radio callers.

I suspect jokers like me will, one day, be able to not only cross reference I.D.s, via Google, but technology will also allow for hologram images of that person based on known photographs, personal data, etc...

You think looking at pics is fun... HA!    One day, you'll be able to interact, online, with folks from the past - regardless of when they passed away.

Great fun George, thanks! 😎 😎
