Curious as to what scale is the most popular on this site, as to ownership. I have 200 1/18th scale and wonder about the other scale owners collection. Replies please.
Judging by the number of topics talked about daily, it would seem that 1/24 scale is most popular with 1/43 scale second and 1/18th third. That said, no matter what scale you collect, and most of us collect multiple scales, you are very welcome to join us here for discussion and showing off your interests.

I collect only 1/43 but as David says, there're a lot of 1/24 posts which make great photographic subjects and cover interesting debate subjects. At the end of the day we're all interested in the automobile.
I collected 1/24th scale until they ceased production...I have somewhere between 300-350 (best guess).

Mainly 1/24, but have 1/43, 1/16, 1/18 and 1/12
1/18 and 1/43 are much more popular these days, but historically this forum was strong in 1/24 that's why the scale is better represented than 1/18. There are other 1/18 forums, but not so many alternative 1/24 forums.
Mostly 1/43 with a few 1/24 and 1/64 here and there.

I was about equal 1:24th and 1:18th scale- have since sold most of the 1:24th and many of the 1:18th scale- have some of Goldvarg's 1:43rd- not looking much so buying less-
I collected primarily in 1:24 but I do have about a dozen 1:18s. I'd have more of both if not for limitatations of financial resources and display space. I regret not collecting in 1:43. There are some truly impressive models in that scale.
As a kid I build a lot of 1/25 (now long gone), about 10 years ago I started buying 1/64, M2, Johnny Lightning, Green Light and ERTL American Muscle. Then I discovered the Mints in 1/24 and that's become my favorite.
I too started with the Mints, and 1/24 ....one day found the Ertl 1935 Auburn in 1/18 and that thar started me down the path to the dark side of oh crap where am I gonna put these big booger’s 🥴
Mostly 143 because I started looking at train scale for New England Christmas village (settled on On30). Like the detail and space saving size.

I used to collect 1:18 exclusively until about 5 years ago when they stopped making new mold American cars between 1950 and 1971. So for the past +-5 years it has been 1:43 & 1:64 scale, again American 1950 to 1971.
These years are not locked in and neither is the scale. At present my collection is:
1:18 - 149
1:32 - 1
1:24 - 14
1:25 - 3
1:43 - 39
1: 64 - 119
At one time it was just 1:18 and 333 of them
I have mostly 1:43...about 90%, lots of old Matchbox @ 1:72 or so, a bunch of DM and FM @ 1:24 and a few 1:32 and such.
Mostly 1:24 about 175, and 15 1:64. Oh and two 1:12 and one 1:43.

I collect all scales from 1/64 to 1/32 to 1/43 to 1/24 to 1/18 with a handful of 1/16 and 1/12 plus four 1/1 collector cars. My collection is in excess of 6,000 pieces. A few years ago space became a problem for the larger scale and as a result I now concentrate on 1/43 scale with an occasional 1/64 thrown in.
