So true. Thank you David.

Ahhhhh! Thanks David. Dogs provide a reality like no other.
We got our "Dog Fix" yesterday. Traveled to the kids/grandkids house 55 minutes away where they have two 'rescue' dogs. Bandit is a big but old mix and Bella is a pit bull. When we show up those tails make them look like helicopters! Unending love!
Good hunting in the great beyond, faithful Hunter, and R.I.P.
What a handsome animal. (Settle down Geno, you're not bad looking either!!
)
@perrone1 Thanks buddy, he was a pretty good fella.😊
I hear ya! We have had so many best friend losses over the years; each one leaves a little hole in your heart when they depart.
Years ago in Texas, my late daughter and I built a huge kennel unto our house and she took in strays and drop-off dogs and cats. Then she worked through her school and, later, where she worked, to adopt them out to good homes. Of course they worm their way into your heart before you find them a good forever home and it's hard to let them go. She placed over 150 animals in a short time.
@geno Love the picture Geno. Hunter was a beautiful baby. Barkley, our eighty pound yellow lab/ golden retriever mix also thinks he's a lap dog. We frequently ask him if the folks at the pound let him sit in their laps. Critters and cars make for a very happy and healthy life style IMO.
@perrone1 Thank you for this my friend. Your daughter is a prime example of the saying, the good die young. Bless her soul for the work she did in saving God's creations. I'm sure her work on earth has been justly rewarded in the hereafter.
