It is well known that administration technique of rescue asthma inhalers is extremely important for the delivery of the drug. My wife is a pediatric pulmonologist and diligently asks her patients to show her how they use the inhalers, particularly if the patient doesn't get better. Once, upon a request to show the technique, a mother lifted the kid's arm and confidently sprayed the inhaler in the arm pit.
