I would consider producing Ferrari modelcars one of the most downtrodden paths in our beloved hobby.
IMHO manufacturers can't go wrong, resulting in models that are built for many years.
But, since the fuss about the new electric Ferrari has tempered down a bit, I was wondering how long it would take for a manufacturer to present the first Luce scale-model.
And if it would sell.
I would not buy one. I love Ferrari's, always have, but the Luce is not, in my eyes and heart, a real Ferrari. It is not to my standard of Ferrari-gorgeous either.
It will sell, though I wouldn't be able to forecast how robust sales might be. But, there are diehard Ferrari fans who will kvetch, and there are fans who will want to give it a test drive and I have a sense that will do the trick. I still believe they made a mistake by putting this model under the Ferrari banner, though. Time will tell if I am correct.
Keep in mind there is a new generation that is environmentally conscious and this will appeal to them, while giving them HP.
I get why they went for something entirely new and different, but this is like the Mondial of the 1980s. It just doesn't gel.
Edit. I've been a Ferrari fan since I was a child. I still vividly remember the time I saw my first - a 330 GTC in 1966 (I was 11) - coming towards us in the mountains of PA. When it dawned on me what it was, I let out quite the yell. 'Mother' was not happy with my deportment ;-)!

What do you think that Maisto will model it soon ? I don’t want a model as I don’t like it

Modern day - SP3 Daytona. Older - 62 GTO.
SP3 Daytona:
I like that Tony but my 🩷 stays with my choice, The 288 is pretty much the only Ferrari I kept when selling my collection.
I've only driven one Ferrari and many fans will say it is not a 'true' Ferrari, but the Dino was just fine, for me. Any more power and I would have been dead before now.
Ferrari has become infected by the current Jaguar disease.
