Employees of Ferrari typically aren’t allowed to buy their own brand-new Ferraris. The only exception, Formula One drivers, and even they have to pay the full freight costs for their cars.

Very interesting indeed to know that an employee could actually AFFORD to buy a Ferrari if not for company policy.

Logic & reason sound good to me, but what would they do/say if a few employees had new Maserati's or Lotus's  in the parking lot. Probably tell them to find parking off property.  

Back in the 70's & 80's a couple of jobs I was on would not allow non USA cars to park on property. Park in the street or the pay to park lot down the street.
