Sure comes in handy when needed!
First car, $200, was a '61 Country Sedan in white. It was 8yrs old with an auto and 352. Spent some "time" under it as the vacuum modulator for the transmission gave me issues. Fixed up the back end cargo with Ozite Carpet Tiles. Made camping more comfortable in cold weather. Loved that old Ford ! Replaced it with a '68 Opel Kadett wagon in '73. Just a bit more fuel efficient mode of transport...lol.

The only station wagon I ever owned was a '72 Fury Spots Suburban that was driven most by the Misses, family truckster as it were, I drove a '74 F250.
The kids named it the Banana Boat. Had a 360 in it and 14 mpg at best. My neighbor had a '73 only with a 440 in it and he claimed 17 mpg, I ?????????????
