Everyone here knows that I love Oldsmobile's. Of the General Motors line-up for 1956, with the exception of Cadillac which I think is the most beautifully styled car from any of the Big Three, the '56 Oldsmobile is NEXT.
A few years back (well actually many years), I took these pics of a gorgeous 4-door hardtop Holiday Ninety-Eight at a car show I attended. The color combo is eye-grabbing.
I'd also add that I love dash-boards, and the '56 Oldsmobile, I think has the most appealing dash of any fifties car.

I remember when my eyes happened upon this car at the show, they almost popped out of my head. It's not a car seen often at any car show, so when there is one like this, I become glued to it. And I usually have plenty of room to look it over, as others are yakking about a row of '57 Chevy's or Corvette's nearby. LOL, works for me!

That is a gorgeous car, especially in that color combo. You'd be the envy of the neighborhood when you pulled that brand-new beauty into the driveway, back home from the dealership!

Anyone would be envied owning it. Even today as a collector car, I venture to say my neighbors would be wanting a cruise to the Dairy Queen.
