It happened to me big-time tonight. I have less than a hundred models so I should know what I do and do not have. I was browsing through eBay, as I often do, and saw an auction for a ‘41 GMC pickup truck, or so I thought by seeing the lead photo. The auction was for a ‘41 Dodge. I know mine is not a Dodge, my memory is shot from my stroke, but come on, I remember really cherishing that truck! Thinking it was a mistake I did a dedicated search for a ‘41 GMC, none to be had, tried completed auctions, none. OK, no problem, let’s go down to the basement and have a look. “Ahha”, that’s no MoPar! Oh well, just one of the joys of aging.
PS… the green one ain’t no Plymouth!

They are both great-looking pickup trucks. I have a Solido 1/19 1946 Chevrolet pickup. And, yeah, my stroke also didn't help my memory at all either !
