...boy, you're not kidding! 😬 😬 😬
I'm still trying to figure out why time seems to go by twice as fast in retirement; you would think it would be the opposite.
brilliant, thanks David
Life really IS too short. And the older I get, the faster it goes away. I want a DO-OVER!
Amen, I just lost a cousin day before yesterday that I spent a lot of time with growing up. Although he moved to Florida 30 some years ago, I still love him and will miss him. RIP Mike. Enjoy every day.🙏😥
"I'm still trying to figure out why time seems to go by twice as fast in retirement...."
That's easy.... it's b e c a u s e you're NO longer a "clock watcher."
While employed, regardless your position or status - a CEO of a multi-billion-dollar conglomerate, or an entry-level laborer - ALL of us, were MINDFUL of the clock. "When do I arrive, how soon can I leave, when's break, lunch, etc...."
Who the hell watches the clock when you're retired, who cares? Heck, most of the folks I know rarely even know what day it is. 🙄 😯
@geno ..... the curse of old age, you outlive your friends & family. Death is final, but not for those who remain. I'm sorry for your loss. 😔 😔
RIP cousin Mike.

@sizedoesmatter Thanks guys, he'd just turned 61. Not old at all. Lung cancer got him, he had been a heavy smoker throughout his life though. We just never know.😟
Love Kansas, great song, great band. Saw them live back in the early 80's in Dayton, Ohio. They put on one hell of a great performance. 💯
"We just never know."
Nope! Back in May, I lost my best friend of 47 years; he was 61. A few months later, my sister, at the age of 58, passed away.
