Thanks for posting that video John,  The Rockford files was one of my favorite shows.  Loved the Firebirds, so last year I made my own Rockbird out of Franklin Mint's '77 police Trans Am.

Thanks for this video JK. I loved the Rockford Files in the 70s and liked the car. I learned more about the car in the last 5 minutes than I knew all those years ago.

Thanks Frank!  I showed this to my sister, as she was a Rockford Files fan, and her response was "It looks just like Deb's car!"  Her girlfriend had one just like it too.  I guess gold Firebirds were very popular in the '70's.
