Kelly and I are on the road for the next week or so. Gas prices are astonishing. Our VW Sportwagen takes diesel fuel. It's running close to $4.00. My Fiesta ST takes premium, usually right around $3.75-$4.00.

$1.43 a litre here in Melbourne Australia. Equivalent to $5.41 per gallon. Usually ranges from $1.38 to $1.70 here.
In Spartanburg, SC, I can still find gas at $2.88. But I have seen most stations now around $3. This is mind boggling, in less than a year, I have now seen the price of gas double as we did get as low as 1.49 per gallon.
$3.19 regular, $3.34, Premium, $3.20 diesel at Sam's Club in Surprise Arizona.
highway prices are around E2.- here in the Netherlands, thats around $2.10.
in smaller towns it is usually lower.

Not much better south of you in Mexifornia.
Nowadays gas prices change daily, hell hourly….. I remember back in the day when a sales rep for the company had to come out and notify the the station manager of price changes, usually done every few months or so.
Consider yourselves lucky. Today's average pump price for petrol (gas) in the UK is officially quoted as £1.40 ($1.90) per litre, or £6.35 ($8.70) per gallon. Combine that with the fact that almost half the petrol stations in parts of London have signs saying "Sorry, no fuel" because of the shortage of tanker drivers, and keeping a car running isn't much fun around here.
