I know you have over 6,000 models in all of the many scales, but I'm curious. Do you know just how many 1:24 scale models you have? Thanks!

...he's still counting George; Bob will have an answer for 'ya sometime tomorrow morning. 😏
poor Bob is going to have more than his fingers and toes to get the count down on his 1:24's.

George, I'll try to get you a number as soon as I have a chance to count them. Right now I'm in the middle of a brake job on my Corvette and replacing the fuel lines. The car is entered in a show this weekend, which is a fund raiser, and I promised to have it there.
George, With my wife's help, the number of 1/24 scale models in my collection is 1251 pieces. Now back to my Corvette.
...see there, and you thought I was joking. 😏 😏

OMG! Though I'm overwhelmed with your having over 6,000 models, I'm equally overwhelmed with you having 1,251 1:24 scale models. You're my hero buddy! I'm thinking had I not put my self-imposed guidelines on my collecting, I would probably have been there with you. You may recall that I collected 1:24 for American car years 1940 to 1970. I did fudge on this just a tiny bit with having the 1934 Chrysler Airflow, the 1937 Studebaker Dictator (one of my favorites), a 1939 Ford Coupe, and a couple over 1970. But other than that, I've kept the reigns on my guidelines. Again Mr. Jackman, I love your collection and really enjoy when you've shared in your video's. THANK YOU!

Good luck getting your Corvette ready for the show and hope it raises lots of money for the cause.

@georgeschire George, I respect your self imposed guidelines on collecting and wish I had your discipline. The exceptions you have made are all excellent models and I can see why you made them. For the record, I never set out to acquire the number of models I have, it just happened.
"...and wish I had your discipline."
Oh yeah! It's WAY too late for that now.... that ship sailed 40 years ago! 😀 😀 😀 😆 😆 😆

I totally understand Mr. Jackman, "it just happened". In truth, even with my "self imposed guidelines", I never started out to have as many models as I do either. We all start with that "one model", then "two" and suddenly it's "ten". After that, seemingly like in the blink of an eye, it's "30", then a hundred, and so it goes. Just one car at a time! Regardless of what number any of us are at, it is an addiction. However, it's a good addiction! Certainly, many people spend money on many harmful and destructive addictions. So I give you, me, and everyone who has endured this passion for models a great pat on the back for not squandering their money in that negative way.
