Next year marks the 25th Dream Cruise. If I attend, it will make my 20th trip.
Overall, it is an outstanding day with a huge assortment of classic cars, trucks, hot rods & customs scattered along a route that spans from Ferndale (9 Mile Road) to Pontiac all centered along Woodward Avenue. I do my best to cover as much ground as possible each year, but the crowds and such make it more difficult each year.
A huge assortment of cars cruise along Woodward as well, so a good spot can guarantee a lot to see too, I just can't sit still that long.
This year over 1200 Mustangs gathered in Ferndale in what is called "Mustang Alley" I could have spent the whole day just there.
Having a very long last two weeks at work, this year my energies were somewhat limited so I basically stayed centered in Royal Oak & Birmingham. I still spent the better part of eight hours walking along Woodward viewing all the "eye candy"
