How many of you went to the first Woodstock in 1969?

.....and "NO"......a regret I will always carry

My late friend Ken and I had made the decision to go there all the way from the west coast in his '67 Mustang convertible.  A week prior to leaving, yours truly made the brilliant decision to not go because it might not be that good and worthy of the long journey.  He never let me forget it, but I often wondered if maybe we dodged a bullet....if you know what I mean.

I was in the US Army at that time!  I didn't even know there was such an event until I got back to the States in 1971.
