I just finished going through the top mechanism on mine and now it works better than new. A very complicated system which was state pf the art back in the day. I took the car to a Cars and Coffee event a few weeks ago and someone asked me if he could see the top go up and down. When I obliged I looked up and a crowd had gathered. I liked the fact that the owner in this video stopped and folded the corners of his top to help prevent sharp creases in both the top and rear window.

Always fascinating for me to see. A friend had a 58 Ford retractible and that was fun to watch too.
