During another search for figures to add to my displays, I ran across this photo, though it is the car that captured my interest.  As the girl in the pic was listed as 1/24 scale, we can safely assume the model car is of the same scale, but I don't recognize the grill and mascot.  If you know the make please let me know.

I think that it is a 1953 Hotchkiss Antheor Cabriolet. Altaya made it n 1/43 in the Voitures Francaises d'Autrefois series with the top down. They may have done it in 1/24 with top up.

@david-green  Thank you David.  I found the 1/43 with the top down, and there are dozens available, but nothing with the top up for the Antheor Cab.  I've put a hold on buying anything smaller than 1/24 for the time being, so if you get any news about a top up version, in a larger scale, let me know.

@david-green   Somewhere along the line someone made this model with a closed roof, perhaps in 1/43 scale, but I have yet to find one.  A real puzzler.

@gdh  Top up 1/43 Hochkiss convertibles were made for the 1939 Biarritz and the 1949 Languedoc, also I think made by IXO/Altaya. These look very similar to the 1953 but are not the car in your original image. SMTS under the Four Wheel Models label made a 1/43 1953 Hotchkiss Antheor in white metal. I have only seen it with top open (FWLG20, 500 made).

@david-green   I found several examples of the Biarritz and the Languedoc and I like them, as well.  Unfortunately, I haven't found any Hotchkiss models in 1/24 or 1/18 scale.

That is a good-looking red automobile ! The attractive young lady is wearing what might be the shortest and skimpyist skirt on the planet and her actions if she dropped and picked up a quarter on the ground would be the stuff of gymnastics legend ! Roll

@michaeldetorrice   By the middle of next month there will be more of her 'caliber' with my group, but I will endeavor to keep it tasteful.  I was experimenting while the heat kept me indoors, today and I may post what I came up with, though it is just a fun experiment.

Footnote: the girl in the pic was not one of mine.
