@jack-dodds ...Al Lewis was Leo Schnauser. 

According to Leno, Joe E. Ross was well known among the "working girls."  Many attended his funeral claiming he was a really nice guy.    Of course, Leno tells the story with a bit more "color."    😏 😏 😀
