My 1st visit to the Stahls Automotive Museum was an interesting trip. I've been meaning to go for a couple of years now, just never made the time. The Orphan Car Show this past weekend had me making the time. It was well worth the drive, and I can highly recommend the place. The only drawback one might find are the hours the Museum is open. Every Tuesday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and the 1st Saturday of the month + any scheduled special events.
Some of the cars displayed there were very impressive and many I'd never seen before. One car from the Museum Collection that they had displayed outside was this gorgeous LaSalle. I thought this was the 1st one of these I'd seen one in convertible form. I learned a little while ago that wasn't true, I found another one in my photo archives (I guess I'm not going through them fast enough)
1934 LaSalle Series 50 Model 350 Convertible Coupe
Special bonus post is another gorgeous example at the Gilmore Car Museum on display during the 2014 CCCA Grand Experience (I just finished these photos today)
and another special bonus is the same car as a 1935 example

2 beautiful LaSalles.

I love the two piece bumpers on the 34s and the side mounted tires on the 35. In case anyone is interested, I can find the space in my garage for anyone one of them.
When I see "LaSalle" I can't help but think back to the early days of hot rodding when the transmission of choice was the "Caddy-LaSalle" gear box. They could take a beating without blowing apart.

I love the subtle 2-tone of the white one. Beautiful cars; both of them.
