Well, some of us craftsmen just don't feel right unless we have a very specific tool that meets our particular requirement, and we just have to accept that it costs the manufacturers extra to cater to our needs.
Same story with my left-handed tootbrush. Cost me £35 but the sheer convenience and ease of use make it worth every penny.

You would think they would be packed pointing in opposite directions, for easier identification.
Ah well, we craftpersons have an instinctive grasp of these things (not to mention a superior sense of spatial orientation) so it's not really a problem.

@graeme-ogg Graeme; check the packaging on your screwdriver. I suspect the higher cost reflects the ambidextrous model that has reverse.
