I've just wanted to drop a few lines and yet everyone know I am still here. I haven't checked in much and
won't often for a while yet. For whatever reason, Facebook seems to be a small bit easier to read posts from time to time from my phone.
It has been a very troubling time in my life with an emotional crisis - to put it simply.
At my age, you'd think I'd be able to deal with something that happened to me 50 years ago. The mind is a strange place.
The recent death of my mother along with a few other issues have brought some things surging back in a way I wasn't prepared for.
I do see a light at the end of tunnel and with continued help, I hope to be myself, or at least a reasonable version of me soon.
Take care everyone, I am now missing this site and my little cars. While a couple new ones have arrived recently for the 1st time in a minute. I haven't had the interest to even open them up, soon, I hope.

I am SO glad to hear from you John, thanks for checking in. You are truly "one of the good guys" as they say and your frequent posts bring much enjoyment to us all. Stay strong my friend, you will be in my daily thoughts and prayers.
John, as always, priority one is to take care of yourself and your life. Your posts and photographs are of course missed right now, but your well-being and peace of mind is certainly the most important thing !
All the best John. We are thinking of you. Sometimes, life is very hard and events can catch up with us unexpectedly. Take care and we look forward to your full return when you feel ready.
John, my prayers will be with you. Get to feeling better. We'll be waiting when you feel up to it. We do miss you 100%. But yes, your health is number one. Hope to see you at full speed soon. God bless you buddy.🙏
I won’t get into it here, but I hit rock-bottom years ago John. With the help of my wife, friends, therapists, and doctors, things got better. You need to believe God never gives you more than you can handle and you will get through it. You have a lot of good friends here and we all care about you!
Sincerest condolences on the loss of your mother. It's the natural progression of life, though knowing it doesn't come close to making it any easier. Just know that she'd want you to be happy and to live a full life.
We'll be praying for your return and be right here waiting for you with full support!
Thank you for all your kind thoughts and prayers. It has helped.
