Boy, oh boy ain't that the truth! The "education" my generation grew up with had its shortcomings for sure but at least we learned the importance of contributing what we could to benefit "the big picture" instead of learning to criticize and look for what's in it all for me. Oh...and did I mention learning to take pride in doing a job (any job) well because it was a statement of who I was as a person? It was called integrity. Whoops...the grouchy old man has surfaced again! Lol.

Well put Jack!
Education is learning a specific school's agenda. Intelligence is knowing the difference between truth and baloney.
@perrone1 So true Tony....especially the "agenda" part. The serious issue in that is when does the university agenda morph into brainwashing? Nothing wrong with introducing varying societal concepts/values but IMHO it's best to introduce it to the student, analyze/debate it, but then let each individual decide what is acceptable to them.
