I love Cadillac but the fin design on the 57 just put me off for whatever reason. Mark II all the way.
Love the '57 Caddy Series 62 but dislike/hate the Eldorado. So by default today is the Continental. Personally I don't care for either, but would love to have the '57 Series 62
Quick and easy win for the elegant and restrained Continental. One of my favorites.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Continental although I am not fond of either.
How fast can I type CONTINENTAL?
I've always wondered how Cadillac could be so drop-dead gorgeous in '56 and then go so far south from beautiful with the '57. I mean seriously, there is just nothing that looks like it belongs on that Caddy! It looks like Johnny Cash's "One Piece At A Time" car in his song/video!
The CONTINENTAL wins no-contest today in the good looks department!!!

@georgeschire I love the '57 CDV George; it and the '62 are my favorites (many other years come close though), but I feel the same way as you do about this Eldorado.
Continental, please John.
Another inspired comparison! There are two opposing approaches to exclusivity and bespoke luxury, one classic and understated, and the other in-your-face and flamboyant. I'll take the Continental.

I am delighted to have 1/18 diecast replicas of nearly both of these beautiful luxury cars. Two 1956 Continentals from Yat Ming Signature Series and a 1957 Cadillac Brougham from SunStar. Impressive real and scale model automobiles.
Two beautiful luxury cars. For me it's the in your face Cadillac but I also love the sedate Continental.
Gents, thanks for your responses and pics.
