....how time changes perceptions and age fosters increased sentimentality. When we were in high school, cars like this were dirt cheap, we'd buy them, rip out their big blocks and stuff them into Mustangs. I have fond memories of "destryoing" many bloated-birds.
Fast forward 40 years, and, well... ... you know.
Great colour but the size still does not turn me on. Frame construction was a backward step. Heavy car! Interesting video, Chris. Thanks.
Don't care for the car 🙄 but love the color 😍 , especially interior, it's GREEN 🤩 .
As one who loved the Baby Birds and always did, these large birds appeared as stuffed turkeys comparison-wise. Still, nice car just not really a T-Bird!

Of course it's not "really" a T-Bird... it's Big-Bird 🤣
The snout on this Bird struck me as ugly when it was introduced and I still feel the same . After '63 the T-Bird design(s) faded big time for me.

Those "bird beaks" were the direct result of Ford luring away Bunkie Knudsen from GM.
Bunkie had ordered "beaks" on 1960's Pontiacs - which, more or less - looked great. When he arrived at Ford, he demanded the same. Designers protested and were able to dial back LTD "beaks," but.....
Needless to say, Bunkie didn't last long at Ford.
