That is, back in their boxes in which you can still see them.
And my, some boxes are actually really nice.
Most of the time they are treated like packaging material and ofcourse they still are, but one should pay more attention to the graphics and the colors.
And needless to say, I had the models in my hands again, be able to look at them and carefully polish them.
Felt good.

...I dare say all of us here can relate, as well as millions of collectors around the world. A toy is joy, regardless of age!

With our model cars, we've all been blessed to be able to stay kids at heart forever. There is something special about spending time just moving around models on my selves and enjoying them again as I look at them.
It's a stress relief activity for sure! And each time you look at some of the cars, it's as if they are brand new again. Even more fascinating is when you suddenly realize a certain model is more desirable to your eyes, then when you first got it. Suddenly, you like a styling you once didn't or vice-versa. Virtually a little sample of heaven.

@georgeschire I agree George. It always has amazed me how, regardless of a person's mood, spending time with our model collection brings such pleasure.
