Just about. Although rivers separate land mass, they do have bottoms that are made up of earth - so not quite an island.

Eau my gosh....from a geographical perspective this is truly interesting....plus it's kind of in the shape of an apple fritter; a valuable source of vitamin C.

I had no idea that traveling East - West in Southern Florida, exclusively by way of water, was possible. Therefore, I suppose, this Eastern U.S. Island theory holds up. Who knew?

Rarely. Only during the day when the sun is out. Ahhhh, island life!!
