Looking good in blue too!Man, John; you're giving us choices that are ON FIRE! I found myself going three ways on this one. But in the final analysis, I'm going with the fifty-four Crestline please sir - and I like blue like this one!

1954 for me too because of the double bullet grille. Otherwise almost a tie.
Edit: I just realized those are the bumper guards. I'll still go with the 1954 for its incremental improvements over its predecessors.

John, as I have said before, you know your cars which is why you have the ability to make these choices so difficult. It would be easy to call this a three way tie but I am going with the last of the flatheads. 1953.
Yeow! Impossible to choose! But, if you held me down and twisted my arm, I'd take that gorgeous '53.

The blue '54 looks the best in the pics presented [connie in back, yuck] but I like/prefer the '53, the grill is plain/simple and I like it best. And I love the flat head V8 drive train. The '54 had an outrageous leaking rear main seal as well as other problems due to the first OHV engine.
The first car I ever bought was a '53 Ford so for nostalgic reasons it gets my vote; plus I prefer its styling by a narrow margin over the '54 and '52, which finish in that order. I must insist on connie removal however...lol.
'53 for me too. I'd love to have a car that was "born" the same year I was.

I'd be happy with any of them. At 1st, I went for the '54, but after looking at some additional photos of the three years, I kind of like the somewhat simpler presentation of the 1952 Crestline.
