Excellent observation.

Ha, got a kick out of that David!
Calling on our company's biggest agencies and their biggest clientele, I knew the value of punctuality. If I needed to be somewhere in 5 minutes, I was there in 3. If I had a meeting at 2; I was there waiting by 1.
Shirl, on the other hand, has a few issues with time. I put together a list that I called, "Shirley Time". It went something like this: If she says she'll be ready in 10 minutes, it will be 20. If she says she'll be at a certain place, allow her an extra half hour. If she says that something takes an hour - she really means two hours. In any other time zone - add 25 minutes to her estimate!!
@perrone1 I never was late for an appointment that I wouldn't call and let my customer know even if it was only five minutes. That only happened once in my entire working career. It's called courtesy. Up until two years ago, Lori was habitually late. I'm not sure what changed but she is now on time and it is a pleasant change.
@bob-jackman Excellent!
I just lie. "What time do we have to be there T?" "4:30 Shirl." (When it's really 5:30)
Sounds about right, lol. Thanks David. I love these. 😁
