The Washington Post asked its readers to take a word from the dictionary and add, delete or change one letter to create a new word and definition. Here are the winners for 2022. Brilliant stuff.

By the way, just in case you're puzzling over the illustration on the right, well, I prepared it just in case someone said "Gee, this stuff is way too clever for me". Given that Lounge members are known to have an average IQ of around 235 (even when the remedials are included), that was obviously never going to happen, but I did it anyway, just for fun. Don't worry about it.

Unfortunately, number 5 is far too common  (16 is a close second). Thanks for these Graeme.

Good move. Having a realistic view of your own limitations is the key to a contented life. (Or suicidal frustration, of course.)
