@jkuvakas  A heartbreaking tale of the perils of Hollywood fame achieved too early.  Few know that Billy's final acting role, which morphed from his Mummy gig, was that of Dr. Peter Brady, star of The Invisible Man.  Billy, although by this time a man of few words, reportedly loved driving the Austin Healey his character owned.

Did he drive masked or unmasked ?

Unmasked might have caused quite a stir.

A compelling question indeed Steve; which also raises the question of why, if he had no head, did he need sunglasses and what did the bandages adhere to.....never mind how did he drive that Healey and how did he pass driver testing?  This is the stuff that keeps us retired guys awake at night!

@john-barry

Is that supposed to be some kind of witness protection program... ?

If it is, I think it's way too late for that.

I do believe that the glasses and the bandages were there to show what a debonair lifestyle he led.

Otherwise he'd have just been any old face in the crowd.

Well...considering he had no head and thus no brain, I suppose it would have been the witless protection program.
