A few years back, during one of the great weekends we spend in Chicago, a group of us went to the Klairmont Kollections Museum. I'll post a photo every now and then.

Never knew about that museum, sorry I missed it.
Oh wow, I should visit next time I am Chicago.
@chav; must be nice to be rich enough to have such a diverse collection, outstanding.
@brush Agree, but you know, I don't envy people like him, I admire him for what he has done and he has done it well making his collection available to the public. He is a genuine cars loving person, who came from a poor family, fought in the WWII, raised 5 kids, build a fortune and put his money to a great cause. I think that is the pinnacle of the American dream. Life well lived!
well, this picture is a delight in reflections....
Chav, thanks for sharing Larry Klairmont's story.

@sizedoesmatter My pleasure, but biggest credit goes to JK, I wasn't aware of the museum and was very intrigued as I live 4 hours away from Chicago and visit Chicago every year. There is an amazing cluster of museums in MI, IN and now IL ...

I first became aware of this amazing museum on Lou Costabile's "My Car Story" YT channel. He's featured a number of their cars in videos.
