Is this Caprice stock?  I don't recall the rear wheel arches being so high.

I never cared for the headlight placement on the Impalas and below. The Caprice's hidden headlamps were better IMO.

I think I found the sale ad for this Impala we are discussing...

....it is described as a custom.

 

I realize that I mistakenly called this car a Caprice but as several Forumites mentioned, it is an Impala.  I mistakenly recalled that this roof design was only offered on the Caprice.  Can anyone refresh my memory........is the only difference between the '68 Impala and Caprice the hidden headlights and upgraded interior?
