The Chrysler gets the nod.  Its styling is far superior to that of this Buick.  I love the look of the smaller Buick Century/Special the Roadmaster looks comparatively bulky in '55.

Kind of biased here, my first car was a ‘55 Buick Special 2 dr. ht., loved it! I do have to admit though that the Chrysler is mighty pretty in Emerald!

I surprised myself a little bit. I love the '55 Buick. But that Chrysler is one I would rather own.

Here in a different color combo and one in a different primary color combo.

Back in the day, my dad was a GM guy and that influenced my thinking as a 15 year old. Today I still love that Buick but the new look Chrysler edges it out in this comparison.

I like the Chrysler.  Not that I like it so much , it is that I dislike the Buick so much.  The only GMC make I dislike, Buick.  The two GM I like best they stopped making; Pontiac, Oldsmobile.

Surely the Chrysler for me, and glad to see it ahead in today's voting.

How could I resist the opportunity to post a picture of the New Yorker's slightly less prosperous sibling,  my '55 Windsor:
