Melting? (1) Turn the heat in the house down. (2) Take the space heater out of that room. (3) Use less of a flash to photograph them.

Now if you mean shrinking; not to worry. There is a scale difference involved here. Some are inherently smaller than others - perfectly normal and, by the way, they look great!
