I have a soft spot for the AMX.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Wow! What a set!1 I love the AMX and still want one! If the Ford was a fastback, I'd take it as #2. I like the Ford coupe but not as much as I like the Dodge. So, for me, it's AMX, Dodhe, Ford.
Thanks for this one, John. It made me think.

I am going with Dodge. I like what they did with side detail and the decal over the trunk and side panel. Second on the list is the AMX. Such an interesting design. In the next town over there was an AMC dealership. I think I saw one on their lot (same for Javelin) which to me meant it wasn’t too popular in that part of PA. I too would have voted higher for the Torino if it was a fastback. I said it once before but I rarely see a Ranchero. I see many older El Caminos around town. I can never get a pic of the one I see all the time, either I am moving or he is moving or I don’t have my phone out of my pocket.
Tony nailed it for me as well. 😁
Love the '70 AMX, like the '69. But I just can't compare a pony car to a mid-size, just don't care for pony cars size and looks, assdragers like most sports cars TOO low for me.
DODGE PLEASE!!
I choose the AMX, but almost went with the Torino. It reminded me of my 1969 Fairlane Ranchero. Color was the same but looks darker in the picture.
Pete,
I’ll bet that pic is from a Knotts show 👍
My choices align with John K. I like the AMX most.
Three gorgeous and strong muscle-type automobiles. If you drove one of these back in the day (or now) you were on top of the world !
